Notice is given of a public meeting to be held at Thirroul Bowling Leagues & Recreation Club on Friday 2 December 2011 commencing at 6:30pm.

The purpose of this meeting is to nominate no less than five (5) and no more than fifteen (15) persons as the committee for the Thirroul Junior Rugby League Club for a term of one (1) year. All positions will be declared open and nominations will be accepted prior to, or on the night.

Congratulations to the U8 boys in the knockout today. The grand final was Thirroul v Thirroul. Well done - some great talent coming through.

A great win boys, you are now off the Grand Final!! The boys had a great first half which set them up to win the game. The goal line defense was excellent and the boys scored some great tries. In the second half, unfortunately a couple of ill disciplined plays led to Berkeley getting back to back penalties which they then turned into tries. Although they seemed to switch off for 10 minutes or so in the second half, they finished strong with a good try to seal the win. Your very relieved coach will be back on deck this week so put the effort in boys at training over the next 2 weeks so you can finish the year off with your first premiership.
