Thirroul 6-Blue — 32 vs Woonona-Bulli — 0
Yet another excellent effort from our U/6's, on a cold and wet morning our boys did themselves extremly proud. They continue to listen well and train train hard improving their skills every week, we even trained in the rain on tuesday which the boys loved. This weeks awards go to Thomas Bush for great hard and straight running, and Jye Nolan for a great captains game leading our boys to a 32-0 win. Congratulations to everybody especially Jacob Foster on the arrival of his little sister Louise last week.

Thirroul 6-White — vs Bye —
Thirroul 7-Blue — 30 vs St John’s Dapto — 8
A very impressive effort. I heard a number of spectators on the sideline say how profesional the boys were playing. While the other team where sorting themselves out in attack we had a straight defensive line just waiting to stop (smash) them. Strong game by all, the stand outs were; Liam E, Ben, Isaac, Rory, Liams G and our new champ Riley Jans. Very well done boys.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Liam (Jessy) Doig Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Liam EAGER
Thirroul 7-White — 32 vs Dapto Canaries — 4
A great all round effect from the mighty whities, the boys put in a great defensive game against a much bigger Dapto side, keeping Dapto scoreless for 90% of the match, setting the platform for the whities fast man to score at will, some terrific individual efforts from Toby and Trent in defense and Cooper and Tynan in attack, and Hamish with some great scrambling to keep control of the ball, well done boys great team effort.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: rory rae Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: trent griffiths
Thirroul 8-Blue — 42 vs St John’s Blue — 14
Great effort by the u/8 Blues. The boys showed flashes of brilliance in their attack and their defence was great to watch. A big thanks to William Young for helping out a depleted St Johns and having his best game ever against his team mates.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jackson Peck Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Josh Martin
Thirroul 8-White — 32 vs St John’s Rhinoes — 36
Another great effort from all the boys against a willing opposition, we had some good solid runs from our second receivers that resulted in some great trys our defence was up on last weeks effort. And I am sure our first win is just around the corner. I hope all the boys and there families have a safe and enjoyable Easter and school holidays

Thirroul 9-Blue — 26 vs Port Kembla — 10
What a game to start the season. The boys looked like they were going to get a flogging as Port got off to a flying start scoring two quick tries. It was 10 - Nil after the first 5 minutes and the boys seemed to still be half asleep. Then a great run and try by Declan got the boys going. Some stand outs were Regan at half, Kyen and Declan in the centres, Jake at hooker and Drew in the forwards. Kane had a big welcome to rugby league as he took some big hits. Bryon, Jackson and Ben all made some great runs. All the boys defended great as Port were not able to cross the line again after the first two tries, even with 2 extra players on the field as we only had 9 players against 11. Once Riley returns from injury this should be a great team. The boys just have to learn to switch on from the start.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Kane Rutledge Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Declan Cuthbert
Thirroul 9-White — 24 vs Berkeley — 22
A good game and team effort with all the boys having an opportunity to run the ball and have some fun with some great footy from both the forwards and the backs.
Jay Archer was man of the match with 2 tries and doing a great job moving the team around the park...well done.
A big thankyou to Reily Jans who helped out and played well with his brother Zac's team.

Thirroul 10-Butchers — 20 vs Collegians — 0
A massive improvement from last week saw the boys control the ball in attack with less mistakes and hold a solid defensive line for most of the game. The talk on the field was good and our passing in the latter part of the game started to take shape. An all round top effort from all the boys saw us finish the game off strongly after a tough first half. Big games from Liam Meredith and Harry Devine, Simon Upitus tackled hard all game. The try scorers were Cameron McIvor, Cooper Nizza, Aaron Griffiths and Liam Meredith.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Luke Wrice Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Liam Meredith
Thirroul 10-Blue — 12 vs Helensburgh — 16
All the boys had a great game. The wet and slippery conditions were challenging but our ball players Clint, Owen and Alex did a fantastic job of clearing the ball. Patrick topped the tackle count in style. Eden and Jarrod bagged a try each. Some solid hit ups from Harrison. Welcome to Sandon Small, great effort for his first game.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Harrison Sutton and Owen Mason Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Patrick Rowling
Thirroul 10-White — 14 vs Berkeley — 12
Well boys it was a different effort this week. We all need to move up together in defence so we need to train harder and work as a team!. Overall the team scrambled well to keep a committed Berkley out in the dying minutes. Daniel, Kyle and Brock led the way in this game. Well done boys.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Tim Heap Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Daniel Gaunt

Thirroul 12-Butchers — 4 vs Wests — 24
There was 1000% improvement. The guys worked as a team and Luke Dawson had one run up the field and I thought I was watching Willy Mason at the Stae of Origin. Jay Davies is improving every week and ran well with the ball. The boys dug deep in the second hakf and defended much better. Josh scored a well earnt try and the Captain "Ben Siteri" talked to his team and led by example with some good tackles and menacing runs. Well done!
New team member Blake Martin Ebbs combined well with the usual work horses.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jay Davies Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Benjamin Spiteri
Thirroul 13 — vs Bye —
Thirroul 14-1 — 24 vs Wests — 10
A typical hard and challenging match against Wests. Unfortunately the boys didn't play as good as last week but they did enough to win the match. Some uncharacteristic mistakes crept into the game and for some reason the boys tried hard but the passes didn't stick or the plays broke down allowing Wests to continually frustrate us all game. Anyway, well done boys for getting the win and I am sure training on Monday will be a hard one!!
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Mitchell Sharp Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Sam Kerr
Thirroul 14-2 — 42 vs Dapto — 0
The team is really working well together with another big win over Dapto 42 – nil.
Thirroul 15 — 12 vs Berry — 16
A completely different game to last week boys. Berry came out firing and led the game 10/ nil at half time after a very lacklustre performance from us. We fought back to win the second half 12 /6 but it wasn't enough to wrap the game up. Let's all make an extra effort to get to training this week boys and get it right for after the holidays and the tougher teams to come.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jordan De Celis Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Lachlan Shrubb
Thirroul 16 — 32 vs Bateman’s Bay — 18
We started well with the score 16-0 at half time. The boys went to sleep and made some errors that resulted in penalities. The Bay scored 3 quick tries which made the score 18-16 in their favour. We then scored a few quick tries ourselves which had us in front 32-18 at full-time. Welcome to Joseph who played great for his first game even scoring one our our tries. Well done to Wolfy who scored a double. Tries also to Jacob Hand, Eddy and Corey.
