The boys where a bit flat today and not listening to super coach Rowan hence found themselves only just ahead at the second break 12-8. But ran out in the last third and put in a great effort to run away with 10 unanswered points to win 22-8. hope everyone gets over there sickness for next week, good effort boys!!

Thirroul 7-White — 16 vs Wests Red — 52
What can you say with a score line like this, considering we beat them easily in the first round. Way to many mistakes and not enough tacklers.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Cooper Bennet

Thirroul 8-Blue — 38 vs Dapto Blue — 4
Another great effort by the 8 blues. The boys showed plenty of team spirit by passing the ball through several sets of hands to set up some amazing tries, well done. A big thanks to the DOZER for playing after being sick all week.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jett Legge Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Nelson Sharp

Thirroul 8-White — 44 vs Dapto Gold — 12
How good was that? 44 to 12, Dapto gold had no answers to our punishing defence and our strong running game. We had no reserves but every one of the boys dug deep and gave 110% effort for the entire game it was a fantastic effort guys and a pleasure to watch.

Thirroul 9-White — 20 vs Wests Red — 10
Well done boys we put some of our training moves on the field this again week. Jay.... good calls on the attacking moves again this week .... and Nick.... thanks for your efforts in dummy half again...good work!!

To the forwards... all of whom played well and did some great running onto the ball on occasions ....well done J.O, Liam, J.W, Reily, Ben and E.T.

Also to the backs ....we had some good ball running from Ryan, Jake and Zac and also some good cover defensive tackles from Jake...good work boys.

It is good to see you making the yards and improving your team game....if you all keep hitting onto the ball harder and faster your game will improve even more.

NOTE: Great to see everyone helping when we where on our try line...some really good team defense on display during this game.

Thirroul 10-Butchers — 24 vs Berkeley — 6
Far from our best performance with our first half riddled with mistakes leaving the winless Eagles right in the game at half time with the score 6 all. After the break the boys composed themselves and got back into stride to kill the game off. One bright spot was Logan Clements kicking game which turning the Eagles around and caught them in goal several times.

Thirroul 10-Blue — 6 vs St Pius — 50
The score line belies the effort the boys put in against a St Pius team who had one or two players with good speed exposing us both up the middle and out wide. In particular, our small guys led the way – Clint, Owen and Alex tackling their hearts out. When we did have the ball, the boys got organised and really started to convert their training drills into play. A good run out wide by Clint provided an offload to Michael for our only try. The boys never gave up and were enthusiastic until the end.

Thirroul 10-White — 12 vs St John’s Dapto — 24
Well boys it was a cold and windy Friday night and all played well considering the conditions. Great running by Zak he led the way for the others to follow. We played a very well drilled opposition and need to defend harder when we play them next time. There were a few Henry the Octpus arms in defence!! No need to mention names.
Keep up the good work boys.

Thirroul 12-Butchers — 16 vs Corrimal — 30
Charlie George led the way and completed a load of work both in attack and defense. Several individuals displayed massive improvement; and example of this was Wil Scheibe side stepping half the Corrimal team, straight up the middle. I think he thought he was Charlie George.
Austin Brroks made some good runs and Lachlan Hirst and Griffin Reh are running like true forwards and hving an impact on the opposition.
It was an improved effort and a real shame to loose the game through poor defense as a team.
We are getting there and a win is only a couple of tacles away.

Thirroul 15 — 18 vs Kiama — 26
Well done boys. Another close game. Again we showed our good sportsmanship by our behaviour in the face of extremely bad and dirty behaviour from the opposition. This was also remarked upon by the referee after the game. Best wishes go out to Daniel who took a bad hit from Kiama and was taken to Wollongong Hospital by ambulance. Glad to hear that he is now OK and tests have come back with the all clear. Our forwards really led the way with some busting runs and Jack Croman was on fire with some very smart plays in attack.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Kyle Heycott Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Christopher Beckett

Thirroul 16 — 26 vs Milton-Ulladulla — 22
Far from our best game. In the first half we didn't hold the ball which led to alot of tackling and alot of mistakes. Ulladulla were all over us both on the field and on the score board. After a few words from the coach at half time the boys played alot better in the second half but after clwing our way back to within 2 points of Ulladulla we still let in a soft try. The boys dug deep and a with a nail biting end came away with very valuabe 2 points.
