A really strong game today by all the boys, the listening and hard yards put in at training are really paying off, In saying that many thanks to Ben and all the coaching staff that help out every tuesday and friday night. the hit ups today were lead by billy, parker, Coen, Scott and great work in defence by Cooper. our skills we practice at training were on display today with Taj Running to the line and offloading a perfect inside ball to Billy to score under the posts. The goal kicking was great with 4 players converting and a few just missing, Keep up the great work guys!!

Thirroul 8-White — 24 vs Helensburgh Gold — 26
Another good effort from the boys against a never say die Helensburgh gold side however we just fell short going down 26 to 24. It was agreat game played inthe right sprit and a pleasure to watch two teams enjoy themselves, once again our defence let us down and i know the boys will be working hard to get that part of there game right and the rest should fall into place, keep up the good work boys.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jackson Haynes Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Reilly Brancato
Thirroul 9-Blue — 6 vs Port Kembla — 18
This was a very tuff game of footy. The boys all played well and started showing some good skills in passing the ball. Our defense has improved with some good tackles, there were some big boys in the port team.
The boys took this loss very hard but boys you should hold your heads high with a great effort. It is always going to be hard for the boys to form any coherence as a team when we have to find extra players to fill in to get a team on the field each week.
We have been lucky to have some great players in the under 8’s that have come to play with us and last weekend was no different. A big thanks to Johno, Jett and Noah. You boys really stood tall. And thanks to Perry Martin who made some last minute calls so we could get a team.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jonathan Keyes Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Byron Gilmore
Thirroul 9-White — 26 vs Berkeley — 16
Well done boys....it is good to see the drills we do at training appearing in our game with everyone really trying to work together.
To our forwards, J.O, Liam, Ethan, Bradley and JW all of whom worked well in running up onto the ball....something we will keep practicing... and our backs with Ryan, Jake, Zac, Nick and Jay all doing a great job.
Thanks to Rory Green for helping our team and showing us some great tackling and also a great effort from Nick in dummy half...good work boys.
Man of the match went to JW and also awards where given to Liam and Jay for their efforts on the field...Lets keep training boys and having fun with our footy....well done... and thanks for the good game.

Thirroul 10-Butchers — 30 vs Corrimal — 6
A solid win for the boys, our defense was at its best again seeing the Cougars being driven backwards from our tryline time after time is was very pleasing to see. Five tries were scored with the pick of them a spectacular try from a kick off to Cooper Nizza who stood up the defenders and sprinted down the sideline beating several players. Thank you to Kyle Goodwin and Daniel Gaunt from the Blues for stepping up and playing for us.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Cameron McIvor Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Cooper Nizza
Thirroul 10-Blue — 30 vs Corrimal — 16
A team effort and constant pressure saw the boys come up with a strong, grinding win. Big defence, particularly on their own line was a telling difference. Good strong running by all but a special mention to Will for some smart play and good running which led to his first try of the year. Some strong, and at times devastating runs by Jarrod saw him with a hat trick. Owen and Patrick also bagged trys.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Will Hopkins Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Patrick Rowling
Thirroul 10-White — 40 vs Dapto — 0
Nother great team effort in keeping the oppostion to NIL. Some fantastic tires 1st to Daniel and Tom for his hard run to the try line.Josh Grimshaw shone again with is hard runs off Corey to burst the the opposition pack to score another 4 ties. A highlight was watching Sam Scib skim the side like in a Jarryd Hayne move to score a lenght of the field try.
Tim one of the smallest on the team yet runs hard and tackles just as hard a great game.
Well done everybody you should be proud in your efforts.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Tm Heap Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Josh Grimshaw
Thirroul 11-Blue — 12 vs Helensburgh — 12
Another outstanding effort guys, lead by Coops, Curtis, Luke and Mitch. Our little men Ja and AJ defended well again against a bigger side. We need to work on execution in attack and talk in defense but we are heading in the right direction at the right end of year. Keep it up guys
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Curtis Patten Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Mitchell Ferguson
Thirroul 11-White — 6 vs Wests — 40
The boys did there best and should be proud, we just need to keep working hard on our defence. Special mention to Addisorn Prabphai who scored our only try and converted it, we are unfortunately saying good bye to Addisorn as he has to go back to Thailand, he will be missed by all in the team...well done mate for a great year and if you do ever come back your always a Butcher.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Drew Pagett Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Addisorn Prabphai
Thirroul 12-Blue — 12 vs Dapto — 4
Thanks to the u/11'S who offered to back up if we were short. What a win against Dapto the talk is improving every week. Remember not to make simple mistakes in the play the ball and to get onside especially when we're tired. Overall we were very strong across the park. 3 more games and bring on the semi's.

We have gone backwards. 2 weeks ago when Bayley hurt himself we played like champions and this week we didn't want to tackle. Except for the individual efforts of Charlie George and Austin Brooks, Wests would have scored several more tries. Charlei did most of the defensive work and ran well. Daniel Russell is improving every week and took a good catch under proessure. We all have "Heaps" of tackling practise to do this week.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Daniel Russell Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Charlie George
Thirroul 13 — vs Forfeit (Thirroul) —
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award:
Thirroul 14-1 — 34 vs Gerringong — 11
Considering the long lay off due to weather cancellations and forfeits the boys did manage to recover from a very rusty game to get a win against Gerringong. What looked like to be our first defeat of the year was averted by some excellent try saving tackles by Hayden Crosland and some individual line busting runs by Sam Kerr. Well done to the entire team, although not your best effort you all stuck together to get away with the win.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Jarred Thompson Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Josh Simmons
Thirroul 14-2 — 22 vs APOF — 8
Thirroul 15 — 18 vs Wests — 30
A great effort by all of the boys to come so close to the competition leaders. If anyone had said before the game that we would be 12 all just before halftime, I think even the boys wouldn't have believed it. We even gave West a scare!! Everyone put in. Great overall game by Jack, Justin & Bobby who were outstanding in defense and attack. A special mention goes to Nick Kelly who had his best game of the year. Now we all know that the effort & belief in ourselves is there, lets start by giving Kiama and Nowra a run for there money this weekend.
Encouragement Award / Gloria Jeans Coffee: Nick Kelly Man of the Match / Stockland Spirit Award: Justin Brancato
Thirroul 16 — 20 vs Collegians — 24
We were off to a good start scoring the first try. Collies were very physical which led to 2 altercations. The last one right on half time led to 2 players from each team being sin-binned and a Collies player being sent off. The halftime score was Collies 10 Thirroul 8. Collies put on two very quick soft tries straight after halftime but the boys fought back to make the score respectable. This was a game we could have won but have forgot how to dig in, play hard and don't be intimidated by oppositions tactics.
