So another year over, well done boys we now know we can compete with Wests and Dapto so next year will be the step up and take the position as the gun team in the under 12s.

...Our thoughts go to Tommy Hay who has arrived home and we hope he has a swift recovery from his injuries. (keep your chin up mate and hopefully we'l see you in the blue and white next year) Thanks also to the new players Drew and Nathan who have come up from the whites..

Match Reports — Week 13 — 17/7/2010

I am really proud to have been this teams coach this year they are a great bunch of boys, all have improved out of site this season and because of their hard work at training the boys have ended up with a great record of 11 wins and 2 losses. 282 points for and 126 against well done boys on a great season...

...We are training as normal till the Gala day on the 1st of August at reed park Dapto at this stage i have no start time or draw for the Gala day so when i get details i will lett every one know, thank you all again for a fantastic season hope you all back up again next year.

...Jake had his best game of the year at hooker scoring a good try close to the line and making a try saving tackle as he held one of the bigger players back close to our line before getting help from the other boys.

Match Reports — Week 12 — 3/7/2010

great game today by the boys up against strong opposition. we were strong in defence in the middle and every attack out wide was cut down by some great tackles by Bryden. in attack we ran the ball strong James, Bryden, James, marley.c and marley.p showed us how danderous they are with the ball when they get some room to move. Great ruck play again by morris how had a great game and taj giving our runners plenty of room with there quick delivery. every player today tried hard and that is what is needed to beat the better sides, great result as collies beat us in round 3 22-4, good effort boys...

...Also on Sunday our boys did themselves extremley proud in the Tommy Martin Knockout at Corrimal winnig all there games to go through to the Grand Finial only to go down to a very good Bankstown side, it was an awesome day of footy against some very good teams from far and wide, we all should be very proud of the way our guys played. well done boys.

...But better still their defence was awesome, Dapto didn't even come close to scoring, throughout the second half the boys started to kick on the second tackle to really test their defence and still kept Dapto scoreless but the blues still managed to put on more points.

...So as they say its back to the drawing board, and I am sure this weekend we will bring it all together and play as good as we know we can.

...Never an easy game against the Burgh and today was no different, playing into a gale force wind in the first half it was tough going but we managed to go into the break locked at ten all.

...Boys you try every week ,You cant win games when we don't have the ball and make errors by handing it over time and time again, but as a team all of you need to tackle and not rely and the same few..

Match Reports — Week 9 — 12/6/2010

A slow start by the boys with a few dropped balls, running over the sideline and silly passes in the first half but the second half was a big improvement with the boys sticking to their game plan and the results showed, well done.

...Ithink the Windang side will be in for a bit of a shock this week,if can repeat the same form from the last two games, we will be hard to beat it was a fantastic effort from all the boys and a big thanks to Max Lees and Connor Grimshaw for helping out great game boys thanks.

...Defense was the key to our victory with Port being driven backwards time after time, Man of the match was a tough one with Cooper Nizza scoring all three tries but Simon Upitis took out the award with sensational tackling and hard straight running in attack.

Match Reports — Week 8 — 27/6/2010

Our attack was great making more than a dozen line breaks all resulting in either a disallowed try or getting cut down by a boy who wouldn't be out of place in a sky blue jumper next week.

...The poor old Woonona Bulli Bushrangers didnt know what hit them they got bush whacked 68 to 6 It was a stunning display of team work right across the park with legnth of the field tries and some punishing defence, it looks like our ball work at training is paying off we looked the goods when ever we passed the ball along the back line And a big thanks to Jousha Martin and Nelson sharp from the blues for coming off the bench great effort boys.

...Where is the team that played Dapto two weeks ago since then we seem to have lost the ability to tackle we tackle at training ok but we dont take it into the game with us we are not moving up togetherin defence not talking to each other and nine times out of ten we are going too high and missing tackles the saddest thing I noticed was some of us just giving up even letting the opposition run straight past them and not make any attempt to tackle them.

...another good performance from the boys. working more as a team, this was a game that they should have won and let it slip for a draw, we need to keep our line in defence.

Week 5, 15 May 2010

Wow!, what a game, Helensburgh scored 3 quick tries on us as we were making silly mistakes and not completing our sets. but the second half was different, the boys went back to playing basic footy which kept the Burgh scoreless and amounted in a bag full of tries to the boys.

...If you boys are trying to give me heart failure then your going about it the right way, we started a bit doggy in the first half letting in some easy trys and we were still tackling to highand not moving up in defence Berkeley were dictating play and we did nothing to counter this. ... The second half was a lot better with some encouraging signs we only let in one try because our defence turned around which was good to see and our marker defence picked up another gear so hopefully we have turned the corner and we start playing the type of football we know we are capable of.

...What a fantastic game of rugby leauge from the boys it had it all outstanding defence with some big hits great running, impresive ball work and sadly some of the refs calls left a lot to be desired but we cant do anything about that.the best thing to come out of the game wasthat we did not give in and we showed that fighting butchers sprit and pride right to the end. An outstanding effort all round thanks boys well done to Ky, Tait,Cooper,Brodie,Jackson,Tom,Reilly,Liam D,Kalab,Keegan,Liam S,and Noah also a big thanks to Joshua Martin and Noah Rees for backing up from the Blues.

...what a great game the boys defended so well as a team and held the burgh to 6 points it was a great effort that wayne could not pick who deserved the tackle award as it would have went to EVERYONE. the boys did not crack under much pressure...

...It was a pretty even contest for the most part but on the back of some great service from the halves, Clint and Jacob, the forwards, Jack, Kieren and Reuben were able to run hard and make some good ground setting a platform for the other boys get a couple of meat pies; John, Will, Aiden, Mitchell and Harry, who had rock solid games.

Week 2, 24 April 2010

The 9-Blues put on a great display of attack footy, our forwards led the way with some huge runs and offloads which put our backs into the clear with some great tries, with a bit of work on our defence, this should be another great season.

...In the first half they scored off a couple of silly mistakes made by us around the play the ball area and handing them possession and giving them a 10 point start, at half time we took note of the silly mistakes and turned it around to produce two great tries and we were unlucky to take the win with a disallowed try in the closing stages.
